The Mwelu Foundation offers a range of programs aimed at empowering youth through education, arts, and life skills. These programs include:

The project has enabled young individuals to articulate narratives regarding their daily experiences through the use of cameras, thereby allowing them to convey their perspectives from the slums to a global audience.

Due to the insufficient infrastructure in Mathare, which encompasses inadequate housing, roads, educational institutions, sanitation facilities, drainage systems, and electricity, the Mwelu Foundation has initiated the Slum Libraries and Study Halls program.

A girls-only initiative addressing gender-specific challenges such as early pregnancies, school dropouts, and access to sanitary products.

Covers topics such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and SRHR. These sessions aim to build self-confidence and prepare participants for adulthood.
